I am really going to give this more of a try then I have in the past. Is it best to let it stand outside for a few days or use it fresh?

Mussel is a very underated bait, just dont know why? easy to get hold of, very cheap if you have to buy it, codling and billet love it. I for 1 do like to leave it outside for a couple of days so the majority die off, they stink to high heaven but for me they seem to catch more fish. The reason people dont use them as often as they should is down to scaling them (deshelling), this can be a nightmare when you first start, but like everything else it becomes very easy with practice. If people dont know where to start, just post your e-mail addy and I will send you a set of piccy's to have a look at.
