OK, I've done a diagram of my version of the rig and saved it as a Jpeg file - how do I post it on the forum? Some of you have put photo's in posts so there must be a way! Maybe I'm just being thick today but I can't think how to do it. Keith.

Hi Keith I'm sure you need your own web site, Then you put a link to it on here.

So how do people put photo's in their posts? There are several on this site already so it must be possible! Putting a jpeg photo and a jpeg diagram in a post is surely the same. Keith.

You don't need your own website, just a bit of webspace. There is a guide here on how to do it: tyke2.proboards43.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1105196614Basically, when you see a picture on a forum all that is done is a link to the picture is inserted and when the message is submitted the picture magically appears. Once you've placed the image on a bit of webspace (see guide) all you do is add the following to your message: www.myspace.co.uk/mypicture.jpg[/img ] It is essential that the URL (web address) is situated imbetween these tags - note that the end img tag starts with a /! Also make sure there are no spaces in the tag (they are there above so that you can see the tags). Hope this helps. Alternatively, email me the diagram and I'll put it on some of my webspace and put the image on here. Cheers.

OK everyone - thanks for the help. Hopefully the diagram will now appear. If it does I'll add some comments in the next post. Keith.

Yeehaa! It worked. The diagram shows the basic rig, obviously you can use whatever line strengths you want, I've just shown my first version. If you want to tidy the rig up a bit you can thread the 50 lb lead loop back through the bottom swivel and it helps to stop tangles. In practice, the weight of the lead holds everything tight and tidy during casting. Bites seem to register as usual and the hooks go home when struck. Comments welcome - before and after trying it out! Here it is again for you. Keith.

Well, since the diagram has been up there for a few days and no one has commented, I presume that you're not as impressed with it as I am! Maybe no one's looked at it - you're all too busy catching fish Some decent cod being reported on the CSA site again I see! I hope to be out again one evening this coming week, see Ya! Keith.

Yes, same here Keith - looks good to me too, just havent had the chance to tie one up yet. Still, its going to be a few weeks before I get across to the beach again so plenty of opportunities to be creative - see my next post!
