fished the beach 7:30 - 10:30
got 2 Whiting, 1 about a pound, and lost a bigger fish in the surf.

yep, quite pleased actually. at least i'm doing something right! next time I'll make my own rigs my mate made the rigs and the hook length broke off the boom.

Hi Mate I'm fishing down your way on Saturday afyternoo / night, do you have any tips for decent marks. anywhere down the coastline, my mate wants a brid trip do you know whats happening there, best time to fish etc

Matty - Veals are good on price and quality. They are also ultra reliable and offer customer service next to none. Use them all the time: www.veals.co.uk/acatalog/Bezza - fish brid north wall (harbour) about 3 hours either side of high water. Plenty of good whiting and flatties at the moment. Mackerel is a good bait for both along with rag. Use a 2 hook flapper with size 2-1/0 hooks and you dont need to cast to the horizon.
